Yo I feel real weird about how much I like this song and the video and does it remind anyone else of The Blind Assassin? Also am I the only person who thinks that in a different decade Lana del Ray would be Tori Amos, and teenagers who love her would grow up to be an entirely different kind of horrible, like the kind I am? Couldn’t this be a b-side off of From the Choirgirl Hotel? This mix of little girl pouting and pseudo-bad girl posturing is familiar but Tori wanted you to know you’re fucked up and Lana just wants you to think she’s interesting, and that kind of makes me sad, but I do really like this song.
